"No Loo"

About: William Harvey Hospital / Maternity

So I want for an ultrasound scan at the William Harvey today, this meant I had drunk quite a lot so after was desperate for a wee. One problem the loo on the ward was out of order, no problem I'll use the ones at the main entrance those too were out of order and the ones by a&e! If I didn't have a UTI before coming to the hospital I think I left with one after having to hold my wee for so long! Also I wasn't impressed that when I was sat in the waiting room I could hear the staff members discussing all my business prior to me going into my appointment! And they discussed another ladies results in the waiting room in front of myself and my partner not even offering to take her to a private room: not good confidentiality!

Firstly, I am so sorry to learn that the loos were out of order.

This must have been very distressing - I sincerely hope you didn't have a UTI as a consequence.

I am most apologetic that the staff did not uphold the privacy and confidentiality which is so vital.

We will take this forward with the team so that they are aware of this issue.
