What could be improved
Everything. This hospital is dirty. Whilst I had the misfortune of having to be at queens hospital I witnessed substandard hygiene levels i.e. bloodied dressings on the floor that looked like they had been there for sometime, my faith was not restored when I was treated by a Dr who had not heard of/dealt with a very common heart defect that I have - this meant me explaining to them the effects of this defect...I have been in and out of hospitals my whole life and have never been so disgusted and dissapointed with the NHS and level of care. I am pregnant and as a result of this experience have refused to use Queens for my maternity care, I am very happy to say I have been using St Johns in Chelmsford who are fabulous.
