About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited the hospital after first seeing an out of hour doctors and also going to the minor injuries hospital, as didn't want to waste time if it wasn't needed. Was told to visit the hospital if the symptoms worsened in which they had, waited 3.5hrs to be seen which I understand hospitals are busy but after being told by the minor injuries hospital that my partner should be priority due to his symptoms, which already put fear into the situation. My partner was told by triage that he would need to have an IV antibiotic and to stay overnight, to then have to wait to be seen by a doctor who said to go home and that we haven't left it long enough. My partner then got left on the bed with a canular left in his arm in which no one came in to take it out. After being told we don't need to be there. My partner is very poorly with a temperature which had caused a concern from a previous Doctor and 2x nurses. However with the 2nd doctor it felt we where being pushed out of the hospital. A terrible experience
