"Patient communcation and admin office"

About: Wycombe Hospital / General surgery

i had to go to the general surgery department on the 19th august and was seen by a consultant. I had my Pre Ops done there and then. was told i would have my operation within the next few weeks. I rang the admin office yesterday (30/08/16) at 9:15am and asked weither anything had been booked for me as my manager is worrying as i am the only one in the office for next few weeks. was told that the diary was upstairs and i would hear back later that day. I rung back today to question again as i didnt hear anything, to be told that i have to wait with the nhs and that they didnt know when i would find out about my surgery. Now my scar has yet again split open and i am in a lot of pain but they cant seem to sort out a simple surgery out. I am not happy with the serivce that they have given me. i dont live near the high wycombe hosptial and it is a lot of travellking for me to do. i am tired of waiting now in total ive waited 3 years.

Dear Emma

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments of your experience when you made contact with the booked admissions office for the General Surgery department at Wycombe Hospital.

It is disappointing to hear that you did not receive a call back from the team which left you feeling disatisfied with the service you had received. I can understand how unsettling this must have been for you, particularly as you have been waiting a length of time for your surgical procedure.

We hope that you may be happy to speak with us in some more detail, so we can best understand and explore ways in which we may be able to offer you assistance.
