My GP referred me to the James Paget Hospital some 18 months ago and whilst being examined the consultant spotted something totally unrelated to my visit. They arranged a chest x ray for me, where a shadow on the lung was found.
To cut a long story short - I had all the various scans etc and lung cancer was diagnosed.
I had a lobectomy operation at the N & N hospital and have been clear so far to date.
I obviously have to attend the J.P. on a regular basis for checks and x rays etc.
Throughout the whole experience I have been treated as a complete individual and have experienced the utmost respect, dignity and care from all the staff I have encountered. Recently the J.P. referred me to attend the B.E.E.T. course at a local gym.
This has proved to be so very valuable during my everyday well being - I cannot praise it enough!
Finally, my sincere thanks to all concerned at The James Paget Hospital for offering such a wonderful caring service to the community they serve.
"Excellent care throughout"
