had a stroke 0ctober 2015 2 weeks at the Qe then four weeks at moseleyhall ward 8 there I met the rude uncaring staff. On one occasion at night I pressed the bell for assistance after a little accident with a wee bottle I told the staff what happened to which they looked at me like so what and said oh well would you like a cup of tea? I said I'm covered in wee they just walked off I sat in wee for a few minutes then pressed the bell again to which the same staff came and said it doesn't matter how many times you Press that bell no one is coming now they are doing meds then walks off talking to the other staff I waited and waited then rang the mother in law only then did someone come to change wet things. The staff moved slowly and only moved quickly when they knew it was there break time. Nights was the worst I heard the staff say don't give a patient a wee bottle he has already had two. My partner came every day and I think the staff hated it like they was put out by being watched working so slowly or just standing in the corridor talking when the the bells was being pressed.i was told by a staff where? was I Having my lunch before I could answer they said you can't have it in the day room because patients don't like people ie! my partner being there when they are eating so I had it by my bed from then on. Having a bed wash one morning and a staff member said to the other staff he is ok turning one way but the other way is a dead weight. I'm sure they though I was deaf.oh and let's not forget my phone two night staff come todo there little checks my phone is on the table as I used it ten minutes before to what's app as soon as they leave my phone is no longer on the table
I asked for police to be called was told they are coming never did see them or my phone again.lastnight I stayed awake because I didn't want to miss going home so you hear everything. I was going 11am so was looking forward to leaving two night staff come round at 4 am to asked how do I transfer I said with the sarastedy they didn't know what it was . So a patient shouted sarastedy I said no way I having a shower.I will have one later because these two didn't have a clue what they was doing you could hear them all night and one said to the other I'm just shadowing you . So Noway was I having a shower with staff who don't know what a sarastedy is on my last day .not a nice place I must say there is four good staff and they was always good and the porters and cleaners nothing was too much they was great but a vile ward don't miss it one bit...
"Ward 8 not very nice for me"
