"Waiting for my Xray result"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

(as the patient),

I went to the x-ray department at Rake Lane two weeks ago to have an x-ray on my lower leg. I have rang my Doctors several times, due to the pain I am in and they have not received the results yet.

I have just rang the X-Ray department to chase it up myself and the phone has been ringing for over 10 minutes with no answer.
It's a shame because at the time the time the service was excellent.

I have been in severe pain for months on and off and it now looks like I will have to go to the walk in Center or A&E.

I am stressing over this because my son was misdiagnosed with cancer after an ultra-sound scan.

Firstly please let me apologise for the delay in getting back to you, NHS Choices are currently having problems with notifying us about new reviews.

I can imagine how your previous experience of your son's cancer diagnosis has made you understandably cautious and that any wait for results must be a frightening time for you ?

I am really sorry that we haven't been able to feedback the outcome of your X-ray in a timely way to give you the reassurance you need.

I’m concerned that you are still on pain and that your GP has yet to be informed, is this still the case? If so, I would like to help resolve this for you.
