"Ileo-caecal resection surgery"

I had good and sensitive care and trusted the surgical team looking after me. I was on Poplar ward and found all the staff there very kind and attentive. My daughter was able to meet my consultant, who telephoned her after my operation to let her know that all was well. I was reviewed very regularly by the surgical team and the pain team. The discharge summary prepared for my GP was extremely clear and therefore it was also helpful to me.
