"Everyone forgot "Hello my name is...."

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

My niece attended an appointment in the X-ray department at the Countess of Chester Hospital, we were seen by three members of staff and not one of them took the time to introduce themselves by name or explain their role.

Despite me stating my name and who I was, my nieces name and introducing carers, by way of a prompt, hoping that this polite interaction would illicit some introductions from the staff, I was disappointed that still no names or explanation of their roles were forthcoming, the radiographer did not even say hello.

I find this particularly rude and disappointing given the promotion of the Kate Grainger's campaign Hello my name is, that the hospital has signed up to and promotes as good practice.
