"Nothing"

About: King's Mill Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Nothing

What could be improved

The care given to my husband

Anything else?

My dear husband was terminally ill with cancer - he was admitted through A&E in terrible pain - it was near change over time and my husband was left until the next shift started some 40 minutes later. The amblance technician had to stay with us to hand him over to the medics.

On the ward he was left in pain. I asked for his morphine - no-one came - 30 minutes later when I found a member of staff = they had forgotten. I tried to speak to a doctor and was interrupted by another doctor and they walked away and left me in mid-sentence - this happened on 2 more occasions and eventually I was so upset I walked out and went to the Hospice for help. All this - and my husband was terminally ill - in the last stages of cancer.

Doctors didnt sem to take on board that he was very ill.

Absolutely shocking

My husband sadly died the same month.

Shame on you Kings Mill.
