"My mother-in-law was well cared for"

About: Chase Farm Hospital

This morning I had to take my 89 year old mother in law to the hospital for an ECG.

She has a blue badge for parking but I was unsure how I would be able to drop her off, get a wheelchair and park the car so I phoned before my visit.

I spoke to a very helpful person, who even offered to come and meet me if I had any problem.

After arriving at the Clock Tower, finding a wheelchair and parking, I was met by a person who asked where we needed to go and accompanied us to the Highlands wing, whilst chatting to us and being most friendly and charming.

After about half an hour in the waiting room, the technician called us in to their room and proceeded with the test.

They said that they could perform the test with the patient in the wheelchair, they adapted the test so that as few clothes as possible had to be removed and they treated my mother in law with the utmost respect and care.

Without fail, every person I came into contact with this morning was helpful and friendly - and I am very grateful .
