I have now had 2 cataract procedures at Solihull hospital , the second one was yesterday , the care I received can't be faulted , I suffer with anxiety , a consequence of which is that my BP rises when I go near hospitals , goodness knows why with such wonderful staff but there you are!
The staff do their utmost to put you at ease , they are so caring , they treat you as a person , in fact the atmosphere for a hospital I think is wonderful, the surgeon comes round prior to the procedure and also was very kind and approachable ,.
I actually had a date to have it done which was cancelled and I rang to ask about it and got a cancellation which was before the appointment that was cancelled !
In summary I am very grateful to them all ,my eyesight in 24 hours is wonderful what a difference a day makes! I should also say I didn't wait that long either to get it done!
"Excellent"
