"one year on"

About: Glenfield Hospital

I had a triple heart by pass operation at Glenfield 3rd august 2015 just over a month after i had a heart attack.I was put at ease when i visited the hospital for my pre op tests as every detail of my stay was discussed and i was told what to expect. The care i was given could not have been better and i was soon going for a walk around the corridors. It is now a year since my op and to celebrate i climbed Mt Snowdon .i arrived at the peak at 13,00 August 3rd 2016,a year to the minute since i was being operated on.I took all the advice i was given and did as i was told and have a full and active life.I would like to thank The consultant and the team for all they did for me and of course a massive thank you to the nursing staff. On top of the mountain in the fog and the rain i thought of you all.Thank you

Hi Terry,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

We're really pleased to hear you were well cared for by staff at the Glenfield Hospital following your heart surgery, and what a fantastic achievement to have climbed Snowdon to mark the day - congratulations from us all at UHL.

We will pass your lovely comments on to all the team involved, who we're sure will be delighted to hear your news.

Best wishes for the future,
