I want to sing the praises of the staff, midwives and doctors at Barnsley hospital. I ended up in for a week over one of their busiest ever weeks and they were still brilliant with me despite being stretched. The labour wards are excellent since the refurbishment, unfortunately the ante/post natal wards are still in need of modernisation but I couldn't fault the staff. Also I am coeliac and the gluten free meals provided were actually really nice. I would also add that the emergency c section I had was extremely well done and the stitches healed really well. The surgeons even agreed to do delayed cord clamping and encouraged my husband to take his camera in so he could get some newborn photos. Thank you to all the staff.
