The Peaks Unit at Rampton Hospital have recently introduced a healthy breakfast club on a Sunday. This gives our patients the opportunity to attend a social off ward activity and to mix with other patients from the Directorate in a more relaxed environment. Here is some feedback that we have had:

“Three stars not bad”

“Excellent service thank you”

“This team should do it more often it was well organised”

“ It felt like being in McDonalds! ”

Thank you very much for taking the time to share this positive feedback. The Sunday Breakfast Club is one of the many sessions we offer as part of the The Peaks Meaningful Activity Plan which was developed by our patients across the Peaks unit and it seems to be one of the most popular!

Following the introduction of these activities I am delighted to share that there has been an 87% improvement on the level of meaningful activity offered on the Peaks Unit and this has united the patient and staff group.

Lets hope we can continue this standard.

well done on increasing the level of activities offered.

There is a lot of evidence that shows the pivotal part that meaningful activities play in patients recovery and positive experience of services.

This positive feedback highlights the importance continuing to hold breakfast clubs in both the National High Secure Services for Women and the Men's Personality Disorder Unit.
