I was taken into hospital 7 days prior to unexpectedly having our son. I have pain in my stomach at 28 weeks and felt dizzy! After lots of tests I was diagnosed with severe pre-eclampsia and was told they would be delivering my baby in the next few days! When I had him my blood pressure was the highest any if the nurses has seen, he was delivered at 29 weeks and 3 days premature and needed to go on a ventilator to breath for him. My son and myself were both on deaths door and Barnsley Hospital saved mine and my sons life. Our son spent 11 and a half weeks in neonatal unit at barnsley they were fantastic the best that I could ever imagine. If it wasn't for them today I was so it would not be here with us. A huge thank you to barnsley Hospital for her that hard work that went into our health. First class!
