"Awful waiting and staff don't communicate with..."

About: BPAS Richmond CC/Clinic

My appointment was at 2pm.

I wasn't seen until 4pm!

I then had a 10min consultation and scan with a nurse, who said I would receive my treatment within the hour.

Back to the waiting room for an hour, another nurse came for me and said they would book my appointment for treatment.

I told them I was having treatment today and said i wasn't as they were too short staffed and to come back in a week!

As if I havent already had to worry and stress about my issue already I just get together to wait another week!

Shocking treatment for me and any other ladies waiting that day for an already very sensitive issue.

Won't be reccomending at all.

At BPAS we pride ourselves on the quality of care we provide and although you should not be expected to wait for prolonged periods of time, this is sometimes unavoidable in a healthcare setting.

At the moment we are experiencing a particularly high level of demand for our services and I am very sorry if this impacted on the timeframe of your visit. I can assure you that your feedback will be passed on to the relevant manager. However, if you wish to discuss this matter privately, please do not hesitate to contact me directly by phone, 0845 365 5050 or by email at clientservices@bpas.org. Kind regards, Pam Field.
