"Check-in screen incorrect"

Lady came in for an 11am appointment at Hattersley GP practice, but the machine told her she was booked for 12. 00 and to check-in later. She waited a bit, then went out returning at 11. 45am to check in with the receptionist. She was told she should have been there at 11am. The lady said it had taken her so long to get an appointment that she wouldn't wait for another. She was then told they would try and fit her in. She was annoyed about the mistake, but even angrier about the appointment system generally - the 'ring at 8. 00' when it could take 1/2 hour or more to get through and then there are no times free. She had been waiting ages to get today's appointment. She was seen by the doctor quite quickly.
