"A & disgrace"

Upon arriving at 00.30 we waited 4hrs to be seen with chest pains. When my wife finally seen a doctor we then had to wait another hr for blood tests to be processed.

Should this have been done on arrival?

It was not even as if A&E were busy just under staffed.

The waiting room was full of empy cups and .plastic containers with bits of sandwiches in, magazines were sprawl on the floor and empty drinks bottles scattered all over. Burton Hospital could do better. I would avoid A&E at all cost.
