"waiting for treatment for bi polar"

About: University Hospital Wishaw

(as a relative),

Here we are still waiting two months later first excuse was that he was not honest with them about how he felt, now its all marital.

They seem to look at every ones failings except there own. But we don't have marital problems, not that we know of. Perhaps they know better than us. I think instead of playing guessing games they should look at there own failings. But never mind they will maybe get it right eventually.

Dear Mary

I am sorry to hear of the negative experience of services you have received. Please accept my apologies for the fact that your experiences have been poor. We try hard to improve our services based on comments from our patient's and carers experiences.

Dear Mary,

Many thanks for taking the time to meet with me to share your concerns in respect of services you have received.

I was pleased to hear that your partner is now discharged home and that he is much improved.

I met with the Senior Charge Nurse following our meeting and made her aware of your concerns. She will remind all staff of the importance of patient confidentiality when discussing specific care and treatment of individual patients with the patient or relative /carer and to ensure that the environment guarantees patient privacy and dignity.

We also discussed visiting arrangements within the ward area and she has assured me that visiting arrangements are directed by the individual needs of the patient with a variety of options being available both internal and external to the ward area.

Again, thank you for taking the time to meet with me and I hope that you found the meeting useful.

Best wishes

Margaret
