My experience of care which involves the home team coming every day. I felt very isolated being on my own and not being well was very unpleasant.
The home team are good to me but I personally felt that having the home treatment team come to me, which I know was generous, further isolated me. I spent more and more time alone in my home and began to feel imprisoned. It would have helped me if I could have been supported to go back into society, even just to the shops.
Having said that I have been to DOP Hospital quite a few times but I think the Hospital has quite a few problems now such as no psychiatric nurses. Also not many staff on ward.
