I was admitted to DRI after fracturing my hip. The initial care was ok but after a couple of days it got worse. I was unable to open my bowels and it was 12 days before I was given an enema to help. I was left in a hoist sling because staff who put me in it forgot I was in it. My bodily cleanliness left a lot to be desired as I was bed bound for the time I was in and couldn't get to the bathroom myself. I couldn't get out of hospital soon enough & I dread the thought of having to go back. A bad experience overall.
