"Mixed review"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

Some of the staff are kind, respectful and helpful and others are down right rude, judgemental and lack empathy.

Staff don't tell you their names or roles. It is impossible to tell who they are as their badges are poorly (or not at all) displayed. Used vomit bowls are left at the end of beds. The ladies' toilets in the main reception area were disgusting - tissues everywhere and faeces all around a toilet bowl were still there 1.5. hours later, which was five minutes after it was signed off as having been cleaned. the drop down box in this survey is not helpful - does not allow fro more than one department.

Thank you for your feedback.

All doctors and nurses are trained to say "hello, my name is" and then proceed by obtaining patients details.

We encourage staff to chat with all their patients.

So sorry that you did not receive the standard of service you expected.

I am the managing director for A&E services, neil.hardy-lofaro@nhs.net and will at our next team meeting discuss your comments.
