"Musgrove maternity"

My 1st in 2011 was horrendous, horrible and swore I will never return. Few months after this birth I was diagnosed with Ptsd due to a situation that happened at the time. Forward to 2015 and still in the area I knew I had no choice to birth here, other hospitals were to far. But things changed this time. I had meeting with the midwife matron who helped put a plan in place to make it was my birth not theirs. On arrival on labour ward everything was fine. Later that night I agreed to a c section and the doctor who performed surgery was lovely. Unfortunately everything didn't go well and I had to be put to sleep, which was all calm and no panic in theatre. Waking up I was greeted with a midwife shouting in my face. What a way to wake up! (glad I didn't see them again) then things brighten up when my new midwife came on shift, they were lovely, caring, i just wanted to bring them home with me. Then as shift change I had a horrible, miserable midwife that just didn't want to be there, who did my antibiotics and squeezed the bag as it's going through me. I asked to change midwife but no one else is available??? Morning came and yet again my midwife from yesterday appeared and decided to look after me again, considering we've already met and easy on my anxiety. The doctors doing the rounds 8/9/15 were brilliant and friendly. I went to willow ward this day. Knowing how bad last time was I dreaded it. Oh my things haven't changed. Miserable midwifes who don't want to be there. I didn't even get told when meals were ready, got ignored most of the time.

If Musgrove maternity unit wants to improve its their willow ward that needs sorting out! If it is possible I would like to pass on thanks to my midwife that helped my time after my birth. Wish I could name them on here.
