"It was clean."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

It was clean.

What could be improved

Where shall i start The staff on the labour ward didnt have any clue!i was induced after being told (term +1) that they thought my baby was very small and that there could be something wrong with her umbilical cord, after being induced i went strait into labour but when it got to the time when i needed a room one couldnt be found ,so i was in full blown labour with 3 strange women who had also been induced, when a room was finally found i had a TRAINEE midwife sit with me who didnt know what she was doing which she told me a few times!!she then left about midnight and swapped with a extremely rood midwife who kept snatching the gas and air away from me saying i wasnt using it right(i would pull it away from time to time to get some fresh air) but she carried on telling me to shut up and when i asked if i could have an epidural she replied"NO u wanted this baby so your going to have it like this" i finally gave birth at 8am which is when she left the room talking about me to other colleges!!.I DO NOT expect to be treated in such an appalling manner!!i had no support throughout my pregnancy with my so called midwife and expected the ones at QA to be more supportive.

Anything else?

Thanks to the fabulous NHS i had the worst experience of being pregnant and giving birth with my first child thankyou for making it so memerable!
