"Reasuring kind and respecful"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I visited the treatment centre for a pelvic scan . The receptionist was friendly and kind i had to wait longer past my appointment as they were very buizzy but the receptionist kept me up to date .The Sonogropher made me very comfortable and explained what they were doing they reasured me of their findings putting my mind at rest they were very interested in me as a person and treated me kindly i would recomend this service to anyone who needs help

thank you for your post regarding your recent patient experience at the Ultrasound Department at Good Hope Hospital.

I am so pleased to read that you found the receptionist to be friendly and kind. It is reassuring to know that you were kept informed when the appointments were running late, and that when you were called through that the Sonographer made you feel comfortable and explained everything that was happening, clearly. I am sure you were relieved to be advised of the findings immediately as this helped to put your mind at rest.

I will be thrilled to ensure that your feedback is highlighted to the Radiology Management Team who will communicate your kind comments to the Ultrasound Department staff who work very hard to provide a positive patient experience to our patients.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, it is very important to us.
