"Urgent care unit?"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

After advice from 111 we attended the unit. We booked in and my obs were done quite quickly. Then i had a 3 hour wait for a doctor. People who came in after us were seen before. All the drunk people were seen before everyone else who came in before them. The doctor i finally saw didnt examine me. Just prodded my back 3 times. (Could tell they'd been asleep by the way.) They then prescribed pain relief that you could by over the counter for severe pain? No xray given (after a fall) should have waited to see my own gp. As i was leaving the doctor's feet were straight back up on the chair where id sat. Fair enough it was 3.30 am but no professionalism. Shame as ive used this hospital in the past with no problems.
