"Wonderful A&E care"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was on holiday from Scotland and was taken to A&E at Stoke Mandeville by ambulance after having a first ever seizure. During the 3 hours I was in the A&E department I came into contact with lots of members of staff as I progressed through the department and underwent investigations and scans. Absolutely every member of staff I came into contact with was kind, professional and caring. I was very scared and disorientated by the seizure, but I could not have asked for a better experience or treatment. Thank you.

Dear Mima P

I am sorry to read that, following a seizure while on holiday from Scotland, you were taken to the A&E Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital by ambulance. I can understand how scary this experience must have been for you.

Therefore, it is very pleasing to hear that you felt that every member of staff that you came into contact with throughout the department was kind, professional and caring, and that you could not have asked for better treatment. I will make sure your kind words of thanks are passed on to all the areas involved in your care.

I hope you have now made a good recovery.
