"I wasn't just another number"

About: Six Degrees IAPT

(as the patient),

When contacting the service for an appointment, they asked me for a number from the slip the GP gave me. I told them I couldn't read it as I have sight problems.

They booked the appointment and then I got a letter in large type that I could read. It was nice that they did this for me without being asked to. All the other letters and information I received was also in large print.

It made my experience much easier and it felt more personal, I felt that I wasn't just another number or patient.

Hi Bit461, many thanks for taking the time to provide us with your patient journey and opinion. We are pleased that you found the service helpful in providing letters in large print, which made your experience easier and more personalised. We will discuss this further within our team meetings.
