"superb treatment from all staff"

I have just come home after an emergency admission to the RUH,and wanted to write a few words to express my appreciation of the level of care. Each and ever staff member,at every level,showed great kindness and respect,as well as professionalism. This ranged from the jovial theatre porters,who had me in stitches ( no pun intended) to the cleaners and tea staff,through to the nursing staff and doctors - who gave their time to answering my questions and providing information. When my operation was unavoidably delayed twice,owing to new and more urgent admissions,one of the urology doctors,and an anaesthetist,came to apologize in person,despite being run off their feet. That kind of thoughtfulness makes a world of difference,and has left a strong impression on me of the generous and respectful ethos pervading this hospital.
