"A year after my bypass"

I was referred to Genfield by Lincoln County after an angiogram revealed 75% LAD occlusion and the need for a triple bypass.

I was fortunate that the hospital had just started a remote clinic in Lincoln so I was able to see the consultant here. Within 6 weeks (earlier if I'd been able to accept their cancellation offer) I went 'under the knife'. The surgical and CCU team were fantastic. A slight post-operative chest infection was detected early and aggressively treated.

My daughter, who is a hospital manager and former ward sister in the USA, was with me throughout and couldn't fault the care I received.

A week later I was walking round our nearby park!

I'm writing this review a year on, having fitted kitchens for both my offspring in the meantime, as well as 600ft of fencing!

Take their advice, follow the cardiac rehab program, and you'll be better than ever!
