"First appointment with Gynae Consultant"

I met with the Dr and the Senior House Officer today on Hemswell Ward. To be honest I did not feel confident in this meeting due to my previous experiences at Lincoln County Hospital. However I should know by now to never make assumptions. The Drs clinical experience, assured manner and respectful approach immediately filled me with confidence. I arrived at the ward following a two week uncertain wait, expecting to hear the worst news. The Dr and the very empathetic and understanding House Officer not only listened but unpicked my symptoms and experience skilfully; allowed me to tell my story and treated both my husbands and my concerns with positive regard. The relief of discovering that my fears were unfounded will mean that I will now get I feel the first good night's sleep in three weeks. I cannot thank them enough and know that I can trust that I am now in the safest pair of hands( team of hands!) Please employ more doctors of this calibre who will pass on their crucial skills to teams of younger doctors being trained.
