"Raging toothache this hospital did nothing"

About: University Dental Hospital

Approached this hospital twice as dentist could not remove a deep root so I was left with a gaping bacteria filled hole in my gum and in immense pain even after a week on amoxicillin and metronidazole this hospital refused to treat this as an emergency / urgent process. Even when approached through Stockport A&E Thank you so much I board a plane tomorrow to Cuba for 2 weeks with a raging gum and face pain and taking medication that clearly isnt touching it.

Oh and my travel insurance wont cover me as I had to declare my visit to this place.

Disgrace

Mrs Ellie Maher, Dental Nurse Matron was very sorry to receive your comments and concerns via the NHS Choices website about your recent experience. We take all issues surrounding patient care and communication very seriously. However it is very difficult to respond to the concerns to have risen without being able to investigate in detail. To do this we would need more information. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk and they will be happy to discuss this with you.
