"emergency eye clinic awesome people!"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

on the 19th of April at 9am i had a emergency eye appointment at the clinic in the Rotary ward, after my sight getting worse after a fall my Gp got me an appointment at your clinic. When i entered i hear lovely jokey receptionist happy to help, positive bubbly which was lovely to see

Being the youngest patient there female late 20's made me feel rather uneasy as sight is so important at a young age,

The consultant who saw me was wonderful, positive sarcastic humour which was funny, they checked everything and explained to me clearly the issue of my eyes, and explained i would need some further check ups, they helped me with my bags and items but i received a high standard of care and you should be proud of the team you have.

The staff went the extra mile by telling me what people had sent to me via text as i couldn't see due to the eye drops and helped me communicate effectively and told me where to press to send the message a truly amazing bunch of little stars you have there at the William harvey

Thank you for your really kind comments about Rotary Ward and that everyone there was so kind and lovely.

I completely understand how anxious you must have been - as you say, sight is so important especially when you are so young.

I am glad you found everyone to be so helpful and I hope that your condition improves very soon.
