"a huge debt of gratitude"

About: Worthing Hospital

From the ambulance paramedics, through A & E to the cardiac unit, ACA, emergency floor wards, medical ward (Erringham) I received far more than I expected.

Courtesy, friendliness, assistance was always on hand.

Difficulty with food from the kitchen was dealt with by staff who made my stay with them more than just bearable.

It was stress-free, comfortable and I cannot speak highly enough of every single aspect.

Happy smiling faces from them all.

Thank you so much to every single one of you.

Such a pity that the catering staff didn't reach the same standard but being vegan seemed to completely defeat them.

Thank you for your lovely message which we will share with the staff in all the areas you mention and they will be delighted.

We are sorry that we seemed to be unable to meet your dietary needs and will forward your message to the head of catering for information.

We would be very interested in learning more about the problems you had and would be very grateful if you could initially contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on 01903 285032 or palsworthing@wsht.nhs.uk so that we can put you in touch with a member of our catering team.

We should be able to cater for a vegan diet and therefore we would like to know more detail about the difficulties you had so that we can get this right for other patients.
