"my births"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Ward C2 Maternity care

(as the patient),

i had both my children at antrim hosptial. my first pregnancy went past with no problems. but my second and thrid turned into a molar and a miscarriage both at 10 weeks. and when i fell pregnant for the forth time i was hoping every thing would go well because of my previous history i was closely monitored from week 6 with a scan and staff at the early clinic could not have been more sympathic and reassuring me repeatly. this pregnancy resulted in bleeding repeatly for the full 38 weeks and staff scaned and put me at ease. finally at 38 weeks i went into labour and my little one heart was in distress the staff kept an eye on me by monitoring me on monitor, but my baby got very distress and wasn't coping with contrations and had to be delivered by a doctor and have a vacume deliver to deliver her weighting a healthy 7lbs 14. she is going to be one this weekend. my only issues was i really wasn't told what was happening they told my husband but not me and i would have liked to discuss my labour after with a midwife, but if i was to have a baby again i would go back to antrim as the staff in both labour and wards where brilliant and need a lot of praise as they do a brilliant job thank you
