After attending A&E with digestive problems, the staff at the Whittington diagnosed a emergency issue and immediately admitted me as an in-patient.

Over a period of a week I was regularly seen by both the Gastroenterology team and the surgical team who were both highly professional, successfully controlling the immediate issue and arranging for ongoing care.

The nursing care on Mercers ward was also excellent, the team worked to not only care for my physical health but to help with the mental challenges of an unexpected stay in hospital, even on a couple of days when the team there was extremely busy.
