"TURP complications"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had a pre assessment operation in Feb. 2016 with complications, was told I had bladder stones, but they could not present with one. Had a catheter in me for six weeks, the first week there where many blood clots and bleeding.

The TURP followed in 2012 and had permanent discomfort and 24/7 pain afterwards, antibiotics and pain tablets didn't help at all.

Had to live like this till 2016 and all the while seeing specialist after specialist, test after test. Jan 2016 had the 2nd Turp and it just keeps getting worse, now I have bladder pains too, the prostate is again enlarged and the pain is worse.

I'm now planning a trip to Switzerland to see if they can successfully operate on me.
