"I arrived as an emergency with ..."

About: Tameside General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I arrived as an emergency with chest pain and a rapid heart beat, and was treated by the A&E nurses and doctors the moment i arrived. I am sure that my life was saved by the care and attention given to me by the A&E nursing staff and doctors, although i don't remember very much, my family told me that at one time there was around 11 nurseing staff and doctors treating my condition and its to those nurses and doctors i would like to say thank you for saving my life. When i was stable and well enough i was transferred to CCU, the nursing staff treated me with sensitivity and constant care which was greatly appreciated.

After five days in CCU i was transferred to Ward 31 and again the staff treated me with care and consideration, finally i was moved to Wythenshaw for further treatment. I would like to say well done to Tameside A&E, CCU and Ward 31

What could be improved

Can not think of anything

Anything else?

I know Tameside have some very bad press, but i could not have been treated better

Thank you for posting these comments. I am so pleased that you were happy with the treatment you received. I will make sure the A&E staff, as well as the staff on ward 31 and CCU are aware of your comments.

I hope you continue to improve.

Best wishes

Philip Dylak
