"Recent Surgery @NSECH"

About: Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

I would like to say a great big thank you to the surgeon and team, all theatre staff and all staff involved with and working on the spinal pod at NSECH. I had spinal surgery on 11/07/16 and all the teams involved with my operation, care and rehabilitation were exceptional. It is such a shame that it is mainly negativity that is recorded in the media about the NHS when we have such dedicated and compassionate hard working staff who work daily without getting the recognition they truly deserve.

I am now still under going care as an out patient and travel between NTGH and WGH and all the staff I am coming into contact with are all 'lovely' and nothing is a bother to any of them. So I would just like to say to the surgeon and team you do a wonderful job and I am very grateful to you all for your care and support. To NHCFT thank you, you're services and staff are well deserving of the 'outstanding' service recognition awarded to yourselves from the recent CQC Inspection.

Dear Mrs Rutter,

What a fantastic review for our spinal surgery team at The Northumbria hospital, your kind and thoughtful words have blown us away.

It will be an absolute pleasure to share your thoughts with the staff who made your experience so exceptional. I agree, the dedicated, compassionate and hardworking staff across the NHS certainly do deserve a lot of recognition for all that they do for and with patients. It was lovely to read why our teams had such an impact on you.

We hope you are making an excellent recovery from your surgery and that all is now well with pain under control? It’s great to hear that our outpatient teams are doing all they can to get you back on your feet.

Thanks again for sharing your experience with us.

Take care,

Annie
