I suffered and injury to my thigh, I called 111 and was advised I needed an examination within 4 hrs, and was subsequently given an appointment for the urgent care center. Upon arrival I was taken to an examination room where i was sent home without being examined, having read further information about quadriceps contusions it seems I should have been at least given compression and crutches. Not happy, now having to take an emergency appointment at the GP waiting time, money and causing me more pain.
"Urgent care center, fail."
