"No good"

I found the hospital ok to start, but not good at treating people that need treatment I think they could learn a lot from Cygnet Units and help people better !!

Thank you for taking the time to comment regarding your experience at St Ann’s Hospital.

Your comments suggest that you have received treatment outside of Dorset and we are sorry if this was because that treatment is not available locally.

It is unacceptable for treatment to not be available locally and we are now building a new Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward for women at St Ann’s Hospital.

This new facility will open by the end of the year.

We are sorry that you felt the treatment you received was not good enough.

As part of continually reviewing and improving the services we provide, we are currently recruiting and training a specialist team that will provide care and treatment to women in extreme crisis and help them regain a sense of control with the support to move forwards in their recovery. This will be available locally.

If you would like to provide any further feedback regarding your experience, please contact Becky Whyte, Hospital Manager on 01202 492145 or via becky.whyte@dhuft.nhs.uk.
