Eye clinic appointments rarely run to time as each patient is treated as an individual and dealt with accordingly. There are times when other patients appear to jump the queue but these are people who are usually emergency cases or who are being fitted in because they are in-patients. My recent appointment was running behind time but I was not unduly worried. Whilst my consultation dealt me an unexpected blow, the doctors were reassuring and left me feeling more positive about my situation. I have nothing but praise for staff in this department who deal with many complex cases in the course of the day.
