About: King George Hospital

Attended with my 6 year old 2 weeks after surgery to reset her arm - wasn't given paperwork for the x-ray until the time we were supposed to see the consultant, consultant we saw wasn't the one on our paperwork but there was no introduction by the consultant so no idea who we eventually saw.

Then only one person in the plaster room so by the time we got seen and a problem identified with the wound there was nobody available to refer to!

The nurse in the plaster room had to call Queens to discuss the problem & we had to visit there 2 days later for someone to view before a full cast could be applied.

Nurse in the plaster room was amazing but daughter was thoroughly traumatised by everything going on & spending *5hours* for her initial appointment at King George's followed by a further *3hours* to sort the issue 2 days later at Queens'.
