"Treatment was good & painless"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

My operation was a cataract removal in my left eye, plus a vent was made in the same eye to lower pressure- causing acute Glaucoma. Treatment was good painless- day surgery in at 7.30am, 18 drops to prepare the eye. Down to the theatre for the operation by the Rotherham hospital eye consultant who had an understudy with him. i was returned to the ward with an eye patch and discharged 12.30pm. Great. I have been on a fortnightly appointment till my last one.

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.
