Admitted 1 to 13 May 16 Damson Ward with a blockage.
Medical assessment suggested prompt surgery which I agreed and was successfully performed with minimum discomfort - thanks to the anaethetist (took great car of my teeth).
Thereafter happily recovered in Damson Ward with the caring and attentive Nursing Staff, the helpful catering staff (the food was excellent) and the cleaners who tackled their tasks with vigour. This led to a quick recovery and I am now very well indeed for which I am grateful to all concerned.
My thoughts were echoed by fellow patients who were all impressed by their treatment, care and attention.
It was Hospital treatment at its very best.
