About: University Hospital Of North Durham

I have been in the day surgery unit twice in the past month, once for 3 nights. The nurses were all amazing; so positive and hard working, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they always had a friendly word and smile even when I was feeling fed up. I felt so well looked after throughout, a real comfort when I'm feeling worried about illness and surgery. The cleaner deserves a special mention - works so hard to make the place nice, did a great job cleaning, and during their break would come to chat and cheer me up. An amazing and highly dedicated group of staff, the hospital should be proud of all of them.
