"Very unfriendly radiologist"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

I had a radiologist carry out my 20 week scan and working as a health professional in the NHS myself, I expected a little more friendliness in their approach.

They had no bed-side manner and seemed as though they did not want to even be there. They found a bleed while scanning me and they did not put me at ease one bit or offer any reassurance, I left the hospital feeling anxious and worried.

A smile and some enthusiasm for their job would improve the patient experience a lot.

We saw your comment previously on NHS Choices today. We said then that we were sorry that your experience was not a good one and that we were happy to put you in touch with our senior maternity team colleagues if that was helpful. All you need do is email generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net and we can get this arranged for you.
