What I liked
I had a hysterectomy last week in the Florence Portal House on the Anthony Letchworth ward. What a wonderful place! Not having much experience regarding hospitals and being aware of a great deal of negativity regarding the NHS; all I can say it that I had a very positive experience with the whole procedure.
From the very first appointment with the consultant, pre-assessment and the actual operation, the care throughout my stay from all the staff involved were all so very efficient and kind, it was obvious they enjoyed their work.
The facilities were immaculate and so very clean. The food was also of very high standard.
Well done Winchester a very good hospital!
What could be improved
Car parking, very diificult to find a space at times..
