"dissatisfied with the treatment"

About: Lister Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Lister hospital, Stevenage this week for heart damage. I was very dissatisfied with the treatment I received, the staff were extremely rude and very unprofessional. The nurses lacked skill and efficiency, they couldn't even extract blood from my arm without puncturing it in various places. The doctors came across as rude and also very unprofessional as they began to argue with me.

The food and cleanliness of the hospital was very disappointing, the food was barely edible and the nurses were rude when I refused to eat it.

I was left in a corridor for hours on end and I felt my condition worsen. In the end I had to leave the hospital without any treatment.

We're really sorry that you felt that the care you received at the Lister recently was not as good as you would have liked. We're very happy to put you in touch with the senior clinical team who are in charge of the services that you used, as it's very important for them to hear and respond to your concerns. If you would like us to arrange for that to happen, then please just email us at generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net. In the meantime, we will of course feed your comments back to the team.
